I just had a birthday, and when asked what I wanted, I responded with "Amazon gift card, please". And I have now ordered the Remastered Original Star Trek: Season 1.

I so could not wait to get this!!

And now Seasons 2 & 3 are only $40 each. I feel confident that X-mas will provide what I need in order to get the other two as well.

Why are 2 & 3 half the price of 1? That doesn't make sense.

I'd like to own this. But Trek has been and will always be too expensive. That and I have no money this year.

I've finally bought all of the Star Trek shows on DVD ( I picked up the complete Enterprise last week ), I've been curious about the remastered versions of classic Trek but I don't know if it's worth buying those DVDs since the stories are still the same.

I plan to start with Enterprise and watch all of Trek in chronological order but thats quite a lot of Star Trek to try and wade through.

I bought the HD DVD/DVD combo from Amazon CA a few months back for a ridiculously low price even getting stung £12 for UK taxes, it looks gorgeous in HD as you would expect such a damn shame seasons 2 & 3 were not offered in HD.

Well that's interesting to know, perhaps I should pick them up when they are eventually released on Blu-ray.

Yeah! I finally got my dvd set in the mail. The enhancements to the episodes are excellent, and the dvd case is really nice. I read a few reviews on Amazon, and some of them reported flaws in the dvd case, but mine is in excellent condition.

I honestly recommend this for any fan of Star Trek.
