I haven't heard a lot of buzz about this film around here. I know Aaron mentioned seeing it the podcast and he enjoyed it. I finally watched it last night. I LOVED it!! Funny film that any middle age Star Wars fan can relate to. Defintely worth a watch! I'm glad I bought this one as a blind buy. It is one I will revisit. I want to watch it again this week with the commentary.

If you listen to scifi podcasts then you are the type of person who would love this film. There are quite a few cameo appearances as well.

RE: Fanboys
I just saw it, a friend showed it to the entire group at his birthday party and I *loved* it.

Favorite part? When the "non fanboy" friend said he was sick of sitting around arguing about whether or not Luke and Leia were still hot for each other after they found out they were siblings, and then gets into a lengthy argument about that very subject. Perfect writing, acting, and subject matter.

I loved the movie when I downloaded it. I'm currently looking for it in my local video stores. The movie place in the mall where I work is charging $25 for it. I never spend more than $15 for a dvd. It's on my Amazon wishlist (I use it as my "need to buy" list.)

RE: Fanboys
Just watched the movie and thankfully it was the original concept not the studio influenced happy funtime version.

Did I like it?
Yes I did but you know it was the cameos and the injokes and if you strip them out it's pretty much a student movie offered up from a major studio.

.
You, with the crown of marble!
She might mean you, sir.

Yea, but like you said...it was still fun to watch. Smile
