Cleverly I did my back in a few days ago so I've been catching up on a LOT of DVDs I've had sitting around for ages unwatched.

I saw the first Final Destination movie years ago and I thought it was amusing but I just never got around to the sequels and I've had the first three movies on DVD for years, Final Destination 2 was ok but it certainly wasn't anything special but the cast would go on to become a who's who of genre TV, I was amazed by the constant stream of familiar faces and even some of the locations seemed familiar.

The whole movie could almost be viewed as a giant genre TV trivia game.

It should never have become a franchise imo. It was a relatively weak idea that just about held up for one film, but should never have carried on.

I do like the bit with the bus tho, they got the sound levels exactly right so that anyone who watches it jumps a mile.

Most Christian audiences have found this film objectionable; it is incredibly violent and gory, there is some bad language, and one nude sex scene which was absolutely unnecessary to the overall film.
