RE: SciFiDig 244 - Thank God It's Friday, Again
I saw the episode a couple years ago (for the first and only time) but I'm pretty sure that the title was alluding to (or referring to) the fact that the "day of rest" never actually happened. It was eternally Friday on the world, and the drugged populace was happier (and more willing to work) knowing that they'd get a day off tomorrow.

Guards, Guards! was also my introduction to the Discworld and I loved it as well. It is to this day my favorite Discworld novel.

Rigel whizzing explosives sealed the failure to entice me during my first foray into Farscape, it was around 2 years later I actually watched another episode and got hooked.

You, with the crown of marble!
She might mean you, sir.
