Fantastic show. Couldn't wait to listen to it when I got home from work. I think that the World of New Krypton storyline works as a good science fiction story, and not just a good comic book. As you said, knowledge of anything beyond the basic concept of Superman is not necessary to enjoy what happens here. In fact, it shares a little bit in common with DISTRICT 9 (well if the aliens were human looking and could drop kick you into orbit).

I hope that the other Diggers will check it out, especially the 12 issue WORLD OF NEW KRYPTON series.

The New Krypton comics sound great, I guess I'll have to try and track down a TBP or two !

I liked hearing the Superman theme but wouldn't the Krypton theme have been more fitting ?

I've never been into Superman but damnit you sure made it sound amazing!
I was thinking about it today and finaly caved in and orderd the two hardbacks New Krypton volume 1&2.
Great show as always.

It'll be interesting to hear the results of the experiment into the reading of books in both print and electronic media, great choice of reading material although there is no way I could have a Dresden novel on the shelf unread
