Smallville: Absolute justice
I'm a bit behind with Smallville but I wasn't waiting for this !

The Justice Society of America
Checkmate
Amanda Waller
Suicide Squad

and the coming Apocalypse ( or should that be Apokolips )

I liked it, I liked it a lot.

We're gonna explode? I don't wanna explode!

YEah right from the opening scene it just felt more solid than a normal episode, maybe the director with a bit more money but certainly the overall effects budget and the score.
I wasn't too confident in the portrayal of costumed heroes in general, a little cheesey but for the most part they pulled it off including Michael Shanks voice acting and the superb costume of Dr Fate. Loved the billowing cap from his "vision", they have done it before but it still has such impactSmile

It's going to be interesting to see how Checkmate and the Zod storyline play out of the rest of this season.

They seem to finally freed themselves from doing a show that anyone would like and focusing on their core group. I know that I have really enjoyed the season so far.

They need to straighten out the Ollie love life storyline. One episode he's pining for Lois after being apart for years, and the next episode he's mixing it up with the Black Canary. I heard the writers are moving into an even worse romance for Ollie. One that ***SPOILER** Chlark shippers will be screaming over.
